{Excerpt} I wanted to see the characteristics which her hand revealed, enabling her to have accomplished these outstanding flights and also to continue holding the interest of the public through her skill as an aviator.

The length of the palm indicates the love of physical activity, but the restraining influence shown by the length of the fingers, indicative of carefulness in detail, enables her to make careful preparation towards accomplishing a definite goal.

In close joining of the life line and the head line is shown the caution which she exercises in matters of enterprise affecting herself, and with the length of the fingers before mentioned, acts as a preventative to her taking unnecessary risks or doing foolhardy stunts.
